Here is the latest update about changes to the course

Surprise! 2026 is an out-and-back course!

35 hour cutoff for out-and-back course.

Due to the Three Queens Fire near Mineral Creek, there is no route available to complete the second half of the course.

Wednesday evening featured a lightning storm in the Cascades that started a fire.  As of Thursday morning the Three Queens Fire north of Lake Kachess had expanded to 25 acres and is a serious threat to the Mineral Creek aid station and presents a danger to runners traversing the north end of Lake Kachess. 

In addition, The Forest Service let us know high winds and lightning are forecasted for later Thursday. They closed the area just as our teams were getting ready to go mark the course.

The plan

Out-and-back from Easton. Normal course (skip the Blowout Loop) to Hyak, then turn around and come back the way you came. Slightly longer, more climbing.

The upside

We’ve run this way twice before. You get the PCT in reverse, the tunnel twice, and the ropes section going up instead of down. It's a good time.

Bummed about missing the back half? Fair. But this is a rare one and you're getting a piece of CCC100 history. Take the win.
