Trail work + requirements

    RACE QUALIFIER

    Deadline to submit: June 14, 2026

    Entrants must complete one of the following:

    Organized or self-supported trail 50-miler in under 16 hours with at least 6,500' of climbing (with Strava track or equivalent verification) completed between January 1 and June 14 of the year in which they wish to race.

    OR

    Completed an organized trail 100-miler at some point in their lifetime.

    Trail work requirement

    Deadline to submit: June 14, 2026

    Entrants get to do 8 hours of trail work. This trail work must be completed between August 1, 2025 and June 14, 2026 and done with an organized work party such as the PCTA, WTA, or other trail work organization.

    Volunteering, crewing or pacing at a race does not qualify as trail work.

    Trail Work Buyout

    Deadline: June 14, 2026

    You can choose to buy out the trail work requirement by making a $150 donation to Cascade Crest 100. Your donation will be allocated towards supporting local organizations and volunteer efforts.

    Note: All trail work buyouts are non-refundable, whether due to race withdrawal or if you remain on the waitlist.
