Are dogs allowed?

Cascade Crest is a super dog-friendly race.

However, starting in 2023, dogs are no longer allowed to run with you on the course. Bummer, we know. But, insurance – gotta follow the rules.

That said, dogs that are well-mannered and cool are welcome to hang with your crew and lick all the salt off your face each and every time you come into an aid station.

Dogs must be on a leash at all times. And, under no circumstances should a dog be left in a hot car. In just one hour, your vehicle's inside temperature can be more than 40 degrees higher than the outside temperature. Meaning a 70-degree day can result in 110 degrees inside your vehicle!

Can I volunteer if I don't want to race this year?

Obviouslyyyyyyyyyy. Volunteering is way more fun anyway. Click here to fill out the volunteer form and we’ll get in touch with you.

Can I get on the Entrants/waitlist after January?

No.

Where does the race start?

The start and finish of the race is at the Easton Fire Station. The address is 180 Cabin Creek Rd, Easton, WA 98925

Is there camping at the start/finish?

Nope. This is a working fire station. Check out the Travel section for some ideas of places to camp.

Are there directions to the crew-accessible aid stations?

Yes. You can download them here.

Where do I submit my trail work and race qualifier?

Click here to submit them online.

Where do the race proceeds go?

The proceeds from our run are invested back into the running community by supporting various organizations, including Pacific Crest Trail Organization, Washington Trails Association, the Easton Fire Department, and many others.

Where can I get last-minute food + supplies?

The Safeway in Cle Elum is your best bet for last-minute food items.

REI’s flagship store is on I-5 in downtown Seattle.
